PREVIOUS YEAR AUCTION 2020

The 2020 Elmira Charity Quilt Auction will be hosted
On-Line on Friday, Oct. 30th and Saturday, Oct. 31st

We Appreciate Your Help making this year a continued success, even amidst COVID 19

Notice: Considering the many in our community who do not have access to the online services, we wish to have a small live and silent auction (50 people at a time) at EPAC. Our plan is to have the doors open 9 AM to 5 PM on Friday and Saturday, for people to bid on quilts, new furniture and silent auction items. We would also plan to have our outside auction live on Saturday morning. Watch for ads and more information closer to sale dates!

Due to limitations this year, we cannot host the beef brisket dinner
and will not be accepting small used household items.

Quilts for the On-line Auction: Quilts, wall hangings, and mats are still the centerpiece of our auction. As a token of our gratitude, we are able to offer reimbursement for the cost of the materials used in these projects. Please provide receipts
for reimbursement. Quilts can be dropped off at our administration office, 118 Barnswallow Drive, Elmira, N3B 2Y9. You may also drop them off at Elmer & Mary Brubacher’s home – Phone 519-638-3724, Elmer’s cell: 519-575-8356 or
Mary’s cell: 519-501-3232. Please attach information to the quilt regarding quilt details, your name and contact information.

Products for the On-line Auction: One way to offer your support is to donate a product that you manufacture, or items that you sell, or perhaps a gift certificate for services that you offer in your business. If an individual wishes to donate
a new product they purchased, we can issue you a charitable tax receipt for the value. Please bring in the receipt with the product. As always, we would welcome a monetary donation in lieu of a product or service.

Furniture for the On-line Auction: Donations of new furniture items, or any wood craft, would be appreciated.

A monetary donation towards our operating expenses would be gratefully accepted:
If you are able to support us, please make your cheque payable to: Elmira District Community Living. (Please write ‘for auction’ in the memo section) A charitable income tax receipt will be provided for monetary donations as per the Canada Revenue Agency Regulations.

On behalf of the individuals we support, and their families, Elmira District Community Living would like to thank the community for their on-going support. This generosity allows us to provide supports and services that are not provided through government funding to individuals who have intellectual disabilities in the Townships of Woolwich, Wellesley & Mapleton.

If you are able to support us, please contact Wendy at our administration office              (519) 669-3205 x 228.

As this year is an on-line event, we require donated items
by Friday, Oct 9th
so they can be listed in time for the on-line auction sale.

Thanks again for your continued help.
